Our team aims to design a brand-new souvenir of SJTU based on the perplexus ball, which will incorporate representative elements of SJTU. And some fluid elements will be put inside to create something different from common imagination of perplexus ball to attract more customers.
Our final solution is a perplexus game ball with water inside. The water fills a quarter of the height of the perplexus ball and can flow freely. The transparent ball shell contains innovative perplexus ball tracks designed with elements from SJTU, tracks that interacts with liquids, and beautifully designed models of SJTU's representative buildings.
When playing, you can rotate the ball shell to make the small ball inside back to the starting point, and roll along the track, through all the mechanisms of different difficulty levels, and finally reach to the end. Once the small ball is out of the track, you can easily return to the starting point. The SJTU landmarks are either arranged along the track or combined with the mechanisms.
