In today’s world, many homeowners, especially in the U.S., rely on autonomous lawnmowers to maintain their yards. However, current models present two significant issues for users. First, the placement of the blade at the center and beneath the robot limits its ability to cut grass effectively near obstacles such as fences, leaving untrimmed areas that can harbor pests. Second, the use of sharp metal blades poses a safety hazard, resulting in numerous severe injuries annually.
To address these challenges, we developed TrimMatic, an innovative autonomous lawnmower designed to improve both functionality and safety. TrimMatic features a redesigned structure that allows its trimmer to reach and cut grass near obstacles more effectively. Additionally, we replaced traditional metal blades with nylon strings, a safer alternative that reduces the risk of serious harm to pets and humans. With TrimMatic, maintaining a pristine, safe lawn, and green spaces has never been easier.
